I'm critiquing this, having in mind that I've seen the other shots with these two models.
As it stands you have some pretty interesting silhouettes going on with the bridge and crane, and it's offset by the highlights and texture in the water. It's a very balanced composition with the center bright spot being balanced by the sun on the upper edge and the dark bottom third.
The models, however, I feel are a bit too dark. I can see some subtle detail, but it worries me as to how they would reproduce on an uncalibrated monitor or in a print. In this situation, I would have suggested an off-camera strobe to burst ever a little light onto the shore area or maybe even an assistant with a larger reflector to bring a bit more detail out. I don't know what the raw file looks like but a few notches of shadow recovery should do the trick as well.
I can see where you were going with this shot. As an art shot it's great, but since I also know you're into shooting more commercial stuff, I think the above suggestion is more apt.
what a clash. I love that clash. Som ehow makes me melancholic...poor mermaids being all robbed. This shot evokes strong feelings- and quite some stories. Amazing.
