So this is suppose to be about an actor..how they put on a face when acting...or when one loses there own identity to the role...

sorry about the Massive grain...i had a weird day today where I liked it..add to the oddity perhaps?
i really like this piece
cool idea and good implementation except one thing (that you already mentioned in the description i know):
The grain is kinda annoying in spite of its add to the effectiveness of the message...
maybe if the background was sharp and only the actress (and the face behind) were grained/blurred it would have been better and maybe use some other effect instead of grain... like blur or transperacy... hmm... well im not exactly sure right now im not so experienced with photo techniques but if ill come up with something ill tell you
other than that, you should consider making the face behind her a little bigger so there is less empty black space there
umm... thats it ive got nothing else to whine about xP
thanks, if i could have less grain I would have...but sadly it was blurry ..i took the photos awhile ago actually, finally got around to messin' with them..sadly it was a very dark theater room with harsh lighting..if that makes sense,I liked the lighting though.. I just wish I had my tripod with me -sigh- but I didn't like it blurry ;_;
mmhmm I can see were you are coming from with the bigger face, when I was making I was thinking about leading lines of her leg though, so I tried to move with that, though I'll try again with bigger head ^^ thankya Ofer
Having some Theater/Acting background, I can say that the picture at least holds up some truth to the occupation. While it's true that an Actor can totally lose themselves on stage, it's also true that an actor can, in fact, bring themselves into the character. Sort of a double edged sword, if you will.
I also enjoy the Bias towards Magenta in this picture. It's a colour I often associate with theater, not sure exactly why though. The grain, while faint, helps add to the whole 'out of body' atmosphere trying to be imposed in the photo.

The guitar is a musical instrument with ancient roots that is used in a wide variety of musical styles. It typically has six strings, but four, seven, eight, ten, and twelve string guitars also exist.
`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. She's consistently reports on contests around dA, showcases the efforts of her fellow artists and shows her charitable side through various activities. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More
